A Great Book for Any Family. We've had family friends deal with the challenges that come when a loved one has dementia, and I often think about what the future might hold for some in my own family. That's why I bought this book. I think we are frequently reactive when it comes to teaching kids about different health conditions. I saw this as an opportunity to be proactive. I am so glad I got it. The illustrations are beautiful and the story led to wonderful discussions with my kids. Now they have some basic information and they won't be left feeling confused if this ever happens to a grandparent, someone else they love, or someone related to a close friend. I highly recommend it.

I am ABSOLUTELY in love with this book!
Alzheimer's/dementia has hit my family 3x over the past 8 years. Now that my younger one is older and has formed attachment to his great grandmother I have noticed the signs all over again. This time, my baby has many questions. This book couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Such a sweet story that assists in teaching young minds about this disease. Thank you so much Deborah Mills!
